Invergordon 50YO

ANOTHER 50 YEAR OLD INVERGORDON!
 
We loved the last one so much we just had to release another. This one is amazingly different. The whisky inside was matured in a parcel of refill ex-bourbon barrels for 49 years. They were vatted together, then reracked into first-fill bourbon barrels. This is barrel number eight.

Nose
Battenberg cake, icing sugar, orange sherbet, mango Solero, almond, white chocolate, rose water, palmaviolets, banana peel, kaffir lime

Palate
Wood char, green tea, cream soda, baking spices, spearmint, peppermint, milk chocolate, marzipan, cocoa nibs

Finish
White pepper, grapefruit, orange zest, liquorice, bay leaves, nutmeg and cloves, tingling wood spice, cinnamon, oak, white chocolate McVities.
