Highland Park 21YO Dechar-rechar Hogshead

A magnificent Highland Park, aged for 21 years in a dechar rechar Hogshead. Yes, the artwork does at first seem a touch macabre, which actually is in keeping with the season! It is, however, in reference to the infamous founder of Highland Park, Magnus Eunson, an illicit distiller and clergyman, who is rumoured to have hidden the whisky under the church pulpit!

Nose
Lemon bon bons, pear drops, green apples, Juicy Fruit chewing gum and both honeydew and canteloup melon

Palate:
Toasted peanuts, nutmeg, cinnamon buns, bubblegum and boiled sweets

Finish
Ashy smoke, light peat, fresh ginger, lime zest, Amaretti biscuits, peppermint and a hint of paprika!

A really interesting and complex HP at cask strength. MAY CONTAIN FREE CASK SEDIMENT!!!! BRUCIE BONUS.
