Dailuaine 10YO Tequila Finish

SUPER WAXY WITH A PEPPERY KICK
 
I can't imagine many bottlers have pondered, "Hey, I wonder what Dailuaine would taste like with a Tequila finish." Well, we did. So we took a cask of Dailuaine (the extra waxy spirit that was produced as replacement during Clynelish's shutdown way back when). Then we threw it into a Tequila for several months. This is the result - funky and fun!
 
Nose
Very malty, waxy and floral (rose, honeysuckle) on the nose, with fleshy fruit, lemon tart, varnished wood

Palate
Agave syrup mingles with barley sugar. Tingling but mouthwatering spices - white pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, anise as well as oak.

Finish
Spicy pepper, boiled sweeties, with lingering nutmeg and clove.
